We will have 2 tree plantings this year with the Goose Creek Assoc.

The dates will be April 5th and the 12th, 2025. 

NO CHILDREN under the age of 14 please. This is heavy lifting, hard labor. Only high schoolers and older please. 

Details:

We recommend that volunteers wear waterproof/old boots or shoes since we are working near water.  We also encourage everyone to bring work gloves and dress warmly in layers because temperatures in April can change throughout the day.      

We will have community service forms that volunteers can fill out at the end of the day for us to sign if they wish to receive official credit for their community service hours.  

There will be a porta-john on site or bathroom accommodation on site.  

Lunch will be provided for everyone.  If there are specific allergies or preferences, please let us know when we confirm our volunteer numbers the week before.  

We will plant in light rain and only cancel/postpone in the case of heavy or rain.  

After planting the trees we will be putting mulch around them and water.
