Taylorstown cleanup

April 3 April 30

Hi Folks, it’s that time of the year again when we can make Taylorstown look beautiful! I can’t do it alone. Thank you so much to those who have helped in years past. 😉

During the month of April, as part of the Keep Loudoun Beautiful campaign, the Taylorstown community will once again be picking up trash along the roadways.

We need volunteers to help with this effort. Orange bags and safety vests will be provided in a green bin at Tami’s driveway at 12969 Taylorstown Rd. Come by anytime to pick up supplies.

You can clean up an area anytime through April. Text or email me so I can tell you what roads are available. (see bottom) or sooner if you like.

I’ll take anyone who wants to clean-up Lovettsville Rd starting and including McKimmey’s landing at the Point of Rocks bridge to Downey Mill Rd. The route number is 672. It is a bit dangerous and tough. Taylorstown Rd, Route 663 from Wilt Store Rd to Springhollow Lane is also available.

Filled orange bags should be left along the road where the VDOT trucks can collect them.

After you have cleaned an area, please text or email me and let me know so I can contact VDOT to pick up the filled bags.

Thank you for helping keep our Taylorstown area clean!

This is great opportunity for girl or boy scout troops to get badges etc. or others (teens) to get volunteer hours.
