Potomac Watershed Cleanup 2025

The Potomac Watershed Cleanup has grown from a small shoreline cleanup at Piscataway National Park to a watershed wide network. What started as a few cleanup events along the Potomac River is now a regional event spanning Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

This year, Cascades Community Association will have 2 locations –

• Quarterpath Trace Community Center (Main Hub) – 20430 Quarterpath Trace Circle.

• The intersection of Buoy Place & Reef Terrace off of Lowes Island Blvd.

We encourage everyone to stop by, pick up bags and gloves, roam throughout the community (not just the community center), then return all trash to the main hub to be taken to the landfill.
