Hail to the Trail – Purcellville’s Green Expo is hosted by the Tree and Environment Sustainability Committee, and designed to connect people with nature and the environment by talking to local experts, participating in hands-on activities, learning about local organizations, and going on nature walks. Local organizations that are focused on nature and the environment are encouraged to participate to share information about their organization, and to have activities for kids and families. There is no fee to register, and the event is free and open to the public. Hail to the Trail is the Town’s annual celebration of Arbor Day and held at the Chapman DeMary Trail. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, October 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.
