Lunch
We will provide a variety (including veggie) of boxed subway lunches for participants (example: sandwich, chips, apple, cookie, & water), but people are welcome to bring their own.
In the case of allergies, it is best for the participant to bring their own lunch, but if necessary, please let us know and we will try to accommodate specific needs.
We will have plenty of water available throughout the day.
Paperwork:
Please have everyone sign the attached liability waiver and bring it with them to the planting site on Saturday. We will have extra copies on hand, but it is always easier if the paperwork is completed in advance. I will have community service forms for interested volunteers if they wish to receive credit for their hours.
Additional Details:
There will be a porta-john on site.
Please remember that we will plant in light rain and only cancel/postpone in the case of heavy rain or lightning.
We highly recommend that participants wear waterproof/old boots or shoes since we are working near water.
Bring work gloves and dress warmly in layers, remembering that layers can always be removed.
Remember to check for ticks when you get home.
thank you again for working together with us to improve the water quality of the Goose creek watershed
